Pausing your membership β exceptions & extended pauses
Normally, you can pause your plan for up to 1 month, twice a year. But we understand that life doesn't always go to plan, and sometimes you may need a little more flexibility.
What situations qualify for an extended or additional pause?
While we review each request individually, the kinds of situations we'd typically consider include:
Injury or illness preventing you from playing
A work commitment or travel period taking you away for longer than expected
A family emergency or personal circumstances requiring time away
Relocation or a temporary move outside your city
If your situation isn't listed above but you feel it warrants some flexibility, don't hesitate to reach out β we'll always do our best to help.
Can I pause a third time or for longer than 1 month?
If you've already used both of your annual pauses and need another, or if you need to extend beyond the 1 month limit, this isn't guaranteed but may be possible depending on your circumstances. Get in touch with us and explain your situation, and we'll review it on a case by case basis.
Expected response time
We aim to respond to all pause requests within a few hours during our working hours of 09:00β17:00 (GMT/BST). Requests sent outside of these hours will be picked up the next working day.
